Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox Flow, if you are buying new. The Tribit Xsound Mega ranks higher than it (#21 vs #62 of 175 medium speakers, 4.1/5 vs 3.5/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Tribit Stormbox Flow is still sold new at $79.99.
The Tribit Xsound Mega is the better-sounding choice. Deepest bass of any medium size speaker. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Tribit Stormbox Flow lacks. The tradeoff: Single driver, not stereo.
The Tribit Stormbox Flow is the longer-running, lighter choice. Up to 30 hours of battery life: roughly double most rivals (~20-24 hrs with XBass on). It is rated for 30 hours of battery against 20 for the Tribit Xsound Mega. At 1.4 lbs (657 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Tribit Xsound Mega at 2.2 lbs (1.02 kg). The catch: Midrange and bass are weirdly recessed about 4db below 700Hz.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Flow if you want one new; the Tribit Xsound Mega is discontinued, so only look for it used.

Pros: Deepest bass of any medium size speaker. Use xbass mode for flattest frequency response. Measured bass extension of 47Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Single driver, not stereo. Lack of detail. Lack of upper treble, peaky lower treble. Not great off axis. Keep in mind this speaker gives up some sound quality for deeper bass. Discontinued.

Pros: Up to 30 hours of battery life: roughly double most rivals (~20-24 hrs with XBass on). IP67 rated with a loose handle for carrying/hanging. Pairs with a second Flow for stereo; USB-C port charges your phone too. Measured bass extension of 47Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not stereo. Midrange and bass are weirdly recessed about 4db below 700Hz. You need xbass mode for it to not sound like a clock radio with missing bass. You also can’t turn up the bass enough in the custom EQ modes to get it neutral, so it will sound bass light. Firmware 1.2.3 fixes the distortion issues with xbass mode on, but bass still sounds wobbly and uncontrolled.
