Short answer: the Soundcore 3, if you are buying new. The Tribit Xsound Mega ranks higher than it (#20 vs #62 of 157 medium speakers, 4.1/5 vs 3.4/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Soundcore 3 is still sold new at $59.99.
The Tribit Xsound Mega is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. Deepest bass of any medium size speaker. Its bass reaches about 47Hz before falling 10dB, against 60Hz for the Soundcore 3. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Soundcore 3 lacks. The catch: Single driver, not stereo.
The Soundcore 3 is the lighter option. Identical in acoustic design and performance to the retailer variant Soundcore Select 2. At 0.8 lbs (372 g) it weighs much less than the Tribit Xsound Mega at 2.2 lbs (1.02 kg). It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Tribit Xsound Mega.
Buy the Soundcore 3 if you want one new; the Tribit Xsound Mega is discontinued, so only look for it used.

The Two Speakers In Full
Tribit Xsound Mega: $116.70 Discontinued Amazon eBay
Pros: Deepest bass of any medium size speaker. Use xbass mode for flattest frequency response. Measured bass extension of 47Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Single driver, not stereo. Lack of detail. Lack of upper treble, peaky lower treble. Not great off axis. Keep in mind this speaker gives up some sound quality for deeper bass. Discontinued.
