Short answer: the Tribit Xsound Go. It ranks #101 of 177 medium speakers by sound quality (rated 3.1/5) at $34.99 and is still sold new; the Xdobo X8 ranks #158 (rated 2.3/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The Tribit Xsound Go is the better-sounding, longer-running pick. A very light, inexpensive waterproof stereo speaker with long battery life for travel and casual listening. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 15 for the Xdobo X8. At 0.8 lbs (380 g) it weighs much less than the Xdobo X8 at 1.9 lbs (860 g). It is rated IPX7 against IPX5 for the Xdobo X8. The tradeoff: Lacking quite a bit of bass compared to bigger speakers.
The Xdobo X8 is the deeper-bass option. A cheap splash resistant speaker that plays loud for background music outdoors, with aux and microSD playback. Its bass reaches about 65Hz before falling 10dB, against 83Hz for the Tribit Xsound Go. Watch for: The single full-range driver is the limitation.
