Short answer: the Bose Soundlink Flex 2nd gen if you want the familiar sound, the Teufel Rockster XS if you are in Europe. The Flex 2nd gen sounds pretty much identical to the 1st gen, and our notes call it warm with overly boosted bass that drowns out midrange detail and note it is not stereo. The XS is a good sounding speaker, though its bass is not quite as deep as others and it is only available in Europe.
Buy the Bose Soundlink Flex 2nd gen new; the Teufel Rockster XS is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.

Pros: Teufel Rockster XS uses 65mm woofer + 20mm tweeter. Its 720 g, claimed 14 hours (Manufacturer specified) battery life, IPX7 protection, aux input and stereo playback make it a practical option for its intended room or portable use. A good sounding speaker for its size.
Cons: There is no companion app. No EQ adjustment. Bass does not reach as deep as others, and it was only sold in Europe. Discontinued.

Bose Soundlink Flex 2nd gen: $159.00 Amazon eBay

Pros: A very portable 586g, IP67-rated speaker with a clear, well-balanced midrange that keeps voices and instruments intelligible. The second generation adds a Bose app with 3-band EQ, better-placed controls and stereo pairing with another Bose Soundlink Flex 2nd gen. It supports AAC and aptX Adaptive in addition to SBC, making it a stronger wireless option than most small rivals.
Cons: One Flex remains mono and cannot deliver genuine low-bass rumble; RTINGS also found the elevated treble can turn hi-hats and other high-frequency detail piercing. The claimed battery life is only 12 hours, and some owners report accelerated standby drain after firmware updates. It is expensive for its size, so the added app and codec support, not a transformational sound upgrade over the original, are the main reasons to choose it.
