The Two Speakers In Full
SVS PB-5000 R-Evolution: $2,599.99 SVS eBay
Older model: the SVS PB-4000 (rated 4.2/5).
Pros: Ported 15-inch high-excursion driver with a 2,000W RMS dual-monoblock amplifier and variable port tuning. SVS rates extension to 13Hz. The SVS Subwoofer Control app adds DSP control and Auto EQ room calibration.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared with ranked subwoofers. A large ported cabinet needs deliberate placement, and ported output does not solve room modes on its own.

SVS PB-4000: $2,158.97 Discontinued Amazon eBay
Newer model: the SVS PB-5000 R-Evolution. It’s likely to perform similarly, though we don’t have measurements to confirm that yet.
Pros: Independent CEA-2010 testing records 115.3 dB at 20 Hz and 120.3 dB through 40-80 Hz. The ported, front enclosure with 13.5” (343mm) driver with ported design has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.
Cons: The 594.4H x 520.7W x 703.6D mm cabinet and 69.5 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential. Discontinued.
