The Select 4 Go’s whole case is price, described in our notes as quite inexpensive for what you get. Its cons are real: bass that doesn’t reach as deep as higher-ranked speakers, volume that tops out before sound quality holds up, and no built-in mic, so playback is mono unless you buy a second unit.
The Miniroll answers with better clarity and detail in the mids and highs, with a warmer tonal balance than most ultra-portables its size, and its own bass simply isn’t quite as deep as the best-rated speakers.
