Short answer: the Soundcore Motion Boom, since the Select Pro sounds almost exactly the same. Our notes say the Select Pro sounds almost exactly like the Motion Boom, with boosted bass and rolled off treble. Pick the Boom for 30W of loud, bass-heavy sound and excellent budget-friendly value, accepting that neither is as neutral or detailed as other top ranked speakers.
Buy the Soundcore Motion Boom only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, buy the Soundcore Boom 2, which replaces the Soundcore Motion Boom.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Soundcore Motion Boom is rated for 24 hours, the Soundcore Select Pro only 16 hours.
