Buy the Soundcore Motion Boom only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Lava instead.
If battery life is a priority, the Soundcore Motion Boom is rated for 24 hours versus 11 hours for the Sonos Move.

Cons: It is mono, heavy and less portable than a conventional Bluetooth speaker, while bass pumping and compression become audible at high volume.
