Short answer: the Motion 100 is the more tunable stereo speaker, but its discontinued status and weak real-world battery make the Soundcore 3 or Select 2 the safer everyday choice. Motion 100 has stereo drivers, LDAC support, IPX7 protection and app EQ, with a recommended custom EQ for its flattest sound. Its bass only reaches 65Hz, it distorts somewhat, and maximum-volume battery life is closer to four hours than the 12-hour claim.
The Soundcore 3 or Select 2 retains IPX7, PartyCast and app EQ while extending rated battery life beyond 20 hours. It sacrifices some bass and stereo scale, but that is a more manageable compromise for casual portable use.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 100 only if you find remaining stock and want stereo drivers, LDAC and the freedom to use a custom EQ.
Buy the Soundcore 3 if longer battery life and a current, simple IPX7 portable speaker matter most.
