The Soundcore Glow is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. Nice light show. Its bass reaches about 54Hz before falling 10dB, against 91Hz for the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. It supports AAC Bluetooth, which the Ultimate Ears Boom 3 lacks. It charges over USB-C rather than Micro USB. The catch: Bass falls off quickly at louder volumes, leaving mostly treble; distortion on bass-heavy tracks at full volume.
The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 is the lighter choice. Rich and warm bass without muddying mix, crisp highs, excellent 15-hour battery life, stable Bluetooth connectivity, IP67 rated and floats, rugged fabric shell, can pair up to 150 speakers via PartyUp. At 1.3 lbs (608 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Soundcore Glow at 1.8 lbs (800 g). It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Soundcore Glow. Watch for: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble.
Buy the Ultimate Ears Boom 3 new; the Soundcore Glow is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.

Pros: Nice light show. Treble boosted 7db. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear. Measured bass extension of 54Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bass falls off quickly at louder volumes, leaving mostly treble; distortion on bass-heavy tracks at full volume. Light effects and bass-boost noticeably shorten battery life. USB-C port doesn’t support power-bank charging. Discontinued and no longer sold new.

You can tell from the micro USB that they are just feeding you the same crap hardware over and over, this is inexcusable for a product released in 2021.
