Soundcore Boom 3i vs W-King D320

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Short answer: the Soundcore Boom 3i. It ranks #31 of 175 medium speakers by sound quality, rated 4.0/5, at $118.99. The W-King D320 ranks #51, rated 3.6/5, at $52.92, $66.07 cheaper, not enough of a saving to outweigh the sound-quality gap.

Soundcore Boom 3i vs W-King D320

The Soundcore Boom 3i is the better-sounding, lighter pick. Looks to be designed as a direct competitor to the JBL Charge 5 with a very similar sound profile, warm tuned with boosted bass. At 1.7 lbs (783 g) it weighs much less than the W-King D320 at 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg). The tradeoff: Not quite as good as a JBL Charge 5, doesn’t go quite as loud or sound quite as balanced, but very very close.

The W-King D320 is the longer-running option. A 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg), IP67-rated travel speaker with claimed 40W output, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, speakerphone capability and an app with adjustable EQ. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 16 for the Soundcore Boom 3i. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Soundcore Boom 3i lacks. The tradeoff: A single D320 is not stereo, and its warm balance trades away some detail and upper-treble air.

Buy the Soundcore Boom 3i. It is rated higher for sound quality, and saving $66.07 with the W-King D320 does not make up for the sound-quality gap.

W-King D320 ranking card

Pros: A 1.4kg, IP67-rated travel speaker with claimed 40W output, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, speakerphone capability and an app with adjustable EQ. Owner reports praise its loud, deep-for-size bass and long runtime, while its two tweeters and passive radiators make it a capable choice for casual outdoor listening.

Cons: A single D320 is not stereo, and its warm balance trades away some detail and upper-treble air. The claimed 100Hz low-frequency specification suggests that its perceived bass should not be mistaken for true sub-bass; evaluate its tuning with the app rather than expecting a neutral default.
