Short answer: the Tribit Xsound Mega for bass, the XB33 for stereo and a light build. The Tribit has the deepest bass of any medium size speaker, but its single driver is not stereo. The Sony is IP67 rated and lightweight at 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg) / 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg), though it is not very loud.
Buy the Tribit Xsound Mega only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, buy the Sony ULT Field 3, which replaces the Sony XB33.
