Mifa Wildrod vs Wisetiger P3

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Short answer: it’s close, and the Wisetiger P3 costs less. It ranks #16 of 135 medium speakers at $38; the Wildrod ranks #17 at $47, nine dollars more.

The Wildrod needs a firmware flash to sound its best, the same requirement as its sibling the Wildbox, with our notes crediting much improved bass and treble once updated. Even then, it has a slight peak around 250Hz and treble that’s a touch rolled off.

The P3 is described as actually very well balanced, even at full volume, sharing its internals with the Miatone Boompro according to our notes. Its only real complaint is slightly less bass extension than the higher-ranked speakers in the class.

Buy the Wisetiger P3 for the lower price and a sound our notes call well balanced without any firmware hassle. Buy the Wildrod if you don’t mind flashing firmware for slightly different tonal character.
