Short answer: the JTR Captivator 212PRO on output, the Klipsch R-121SW on simplicity. The JTR’s dual 12-inch ported cabinet and 1200W DSP amp are its strengths, but it costs $2,799 against $389.99 and adds ported room interaction in a 70.5 lbs (32 kg) frame. The R-121SW’s 12-inch spun-copper driver and 200W RMS deliver controlled, musical bass with minimal distortion.
Buy the JTR Speakers Captivator 212PRO when sound quality outweighs the price for you, and the Klipsch R-121SW when the price outweighs sound quality instead.
