The X10’s cons are severe for a speaker built around stereo pairing. Not much bass, very rolled-off treble, and a weird, harsh midrange peak. Its real selling point, pairing two units for stereo, doesn’t fix a tuning problem that exists on each individual speaker.
The Go 3 isn’t a strong performer either, with its own cons citing not much bass and a strange peak in the mids, but it sits in a far more respectable position within its own size class.
Buy the Go 3 if you’re choosing between these two specifically. Neither is a strong recommendation on its own; see the small speaker ranking for better options near this price.
