The Tribit Xsound Go is the lighter choice. Well balanced sound. At 0.8 lbs (380 g) it weighs much less than the JBL Charge 4 at 2.1 lbs (960 g). It has an adjustable EQ, which the JBL Charge 4 lacks. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the JBL Charge 4. Watch for: Lacking quite a bit of bass compared to bigger speakers.
Buy the JBL Charge 6, the replacement for the discontinued JBL Charge 4; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Tribit Xsound Go.
