The Boombox 2 is IPX7 rated with 24 hours at default volume and 20+ hours at 60%, though it is somewhat bass heavy and boomy. The Boomster NG sounds pretty neutral with a removable battery, but its bass is not as deep, the port can make noise and it has no water rating.
Buy the JBL Boombox 2 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Blast instead.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the JBL Boombox 2 at IPX7 (brief submersion) against the Teufel Boomster NG (2017), which has no water resistance.
