Short answer: the JBL Boombox 2 for battery life, the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 for the lower price. The Boombox 2 runs 24 hours at default volume and 20+ hours at 60%, though it is somewhat bass heavy and boomy. The Onyx Studio 6 is warm with boosted bass and lasts 8 hours at medium volume, at $130 versus $449.99.
Buy the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Blast instead.
