Pros: A 6.5” woofer and 0.75” metal dome tweeter behind Genelec’s Directivity Control Waveguide, in a die-cast aluminum cabinet, specified at ±1.5dB from 45Hz to 20kHz and down to 38Hz at -6dB. GLM software measures your room and sets level, delay and EQ for each speaker automatically. 300W of amplification per speaker gives 110dB short-term output, with analog XLR and AES/EBU digital inputs.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. GLM calibration needs the separately sold GLM kit, and there is no RCA input for consumer gear.
