Short answer: the Fender Audio Elie 12. It ranks #48 of 117 large speakers by sound quality, rated 3.8/5, at $399. The Fender Audio Elie 6 ranks #50, rated 3.6/5, at $299, $100 cheaper, a saving that is not big enough to make up the sound-quality gap.
What the Fender Audio Elie 12 does well: Doubles every driver of the Fender Audio Elie 6 on 120W: two tweeters, two full-range drivers and two subwoofers give left and right stereo from one cabinet, clearly more bass weight and punch, and a 101dB rated output. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Fender Audio Elie 6. Watch for: At 8.8 lbs (3.97 kg) it is heavy for its size, and battery life is rated at 15 hours, well short of the Marshall Kilburn III.
The Fender Audio Elie 6 is the lighter choice. A compact three-way speaker with a built-in four-channel mixer. At 3.9 lbs (1.79 kg) it weighs much less than the Fender Audio Elie 12 at 8.8 lbs (3.97 kg). The tradeoff: Single-cabinet mono sound with no bass or treble knobs on the speaker.
Buy the Fender Audio Elie 12. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $100 you would save on the Fender Audio Elie 6 does not close the gap.
