Short answer: the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2, because a 19dB suckout is disqualifying for many listeners. The Zu Audio Method is genuinely high-sensitivity, about 90-90.7dB average through the 300Hz-3kHz vocal range, but a severe 1.5-3kHz suckout falls as much as 19dB below the mean at its worst, removing attack and clarity from brass and woodwinds. The B6.2’s own problems, a resonant peak around 700Hz and a 3.3kHz directivity error, are milder.
Buy the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Zu Audio Method and costs less, which makes it the one to get unless you need something the other one does better.
