The Diamondboxx M3 is the longer-running, lighter pick. A compact, very loud boombox with a powerful amplifier and a choice of large battery packs. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 24 for the W-King D20. At 11 lbs (5 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the W-King D20 at 14.3 lbs (6.5 kg). The catch: Despite its output, bass does not reach as deep as the best large portables and can distort when pushed hard.
The W-King D20 is the better-sounding, tougher choice. A loud stereo party speaker with two wireless microphones, a 24 hour battery and water resistance. It is rated IPX6, while the Diamondboxx M3 has no water resistance. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Diamondboxx M3 lacks. The tradeoff: Rising frequency response but upper treble rolled off, 700Hz and 1.2kHz peaks.
Buy the W-King D20. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Diamondboxx M3 is no longer sold new.
