Short answer: the Sonos Move 2, if you are buying new. The Sonos Move ranks higher than the Devialet Mania (#30 vs #54 of 117 large speakers) but is discontinued; its replacement, the Sonos Move 2, is rated 4.1/5 at $480 and is still sold new.
The Devialet Mania is the lighter option. A compact, good looking Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stereo speaker with Alexa built in and splash resistance. At 5.1 lbs (2.3 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the Sonos Move at 6.6 lbs (3 kg). The tradeoff: Not very loud.
The Sonos Move is the better-sounding, tougher option. A Wi-Fi and Bluetooth portable with warm, full bodied sound, automatic room tuning and a charging base. It is rated IP56 against IPX4 for the Devialet Mania. Watch for: It is mono, heavy and less portable than a conventional Bluetooth speaker, while bass pumping and compression become audible at high volume.
Buy the Sonos Move 2, the replacement for the discontinued Sonos Move; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Devialet Mania.
