Short answer: the Brane X. It ranks #4 of 115 large speakers by sound quality, rated 4.6/5, at $549; the Devialet Mania ranks #52, rated 3.6/5, and costs $899, so there is little reason to consider the other one.
The Devialet Mania is the lighter choice. A compact, good looking Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stereo speaker with Alexa built in and splash resistance. At 5.1 lbs (2.3 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the Brane X at 7.7 lbs (3.5 kg). The catch: Not very loud.
The Brane X is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. A portable speaker with extraordinarily deep bass for its size, plus Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Alexa and a low latency aux input. Its bass reaches about 31Hz before falling 10dB, against 47Hz for the Devialet Mania. It is rated IP57 against IPX4 for the Devialet Mania. It supports aptX HD Bluetooth, which the Devialet Mania lacks. The tradeoff: The front-facing design has only moderate dispersion, so sound changes noticeably off to the sides or behind it.
Buy the Brane X. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Devialet Mania and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
