Short answer: the Bose SoundLink Plus. It ranks #22 of 77 large speakers by sound quality at $199.99; the Dali Katch G2 ranks #58 and costs $750, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
On the Dali Katch G2 side: Pretty neutral Watch for: Loses bass quickly after 40% volume. A lot of compression artifacts at high volume. External AC power brick for charging. Horribly overpriced. Nearly identical to the Dali Katch G1. Reverb added to the output screws up the imaging.
The case for the Bose SoundLink Plus: IP67 rated, IP67 water/dustproof. Close to 20 hour battery life. Vibrant sound with booming bass, clean mids. Bluetooth 5.4 with good range. Premium tactile grille, smooth silicone. Quality build at $269. The tradeoff: Boosted thuddy bass, but not as deep as the SoundLink Flex and you should probably just buy one of those instead if you want a Bose.
Buy the Bose SoundLink Plus. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Dali Katch G2 and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Dali Katch G2. It ranks near the bottom of the 77 large speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
If battery life is a priority, the Dali Katch G2 is rated for 30 hours versus 20 hours for the Bose SoundLink Plus.
