Short answer: the Brane X. It ranks #4 of 117 large speakers by sound quality (rated 4.6/5) at $549 and is still sold new; the Harman Kardon Citation 200 ranks #13 (rated 4.5/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The Brane X is the longer-running, tougher option. A portable speaker with extraordinarily deep bass for its size, plus Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Alexa and a low latency aux input. It is rated for 12 hours of battery against 8 for the Harman Kardon Citation 200. It is rated IP57 against IPX4 for the Harman Kardon Citation 200. It supports aptX HD Bluetooth, which the Harman Kardon Citation 200 lacks. Watch for: The front-facing design has only moderate dispersion, so sound changes noticeably off to the sides or behind it.
What the Harman Kardon Citation 200 does well: A portable smart speaker with Wi-Fi, Google Assistant and deep bass for its size, now discontinued but worth buying used. Watch for: Overly boomy by default, you can short press the Bluetooth and volume down buttons simultaneously to decrease the bass, and the Bluetooth and volume up buttons simultaneously to increase it.
Buy the Brane X. It is rated higher for sound quality and still sold new, while the Harman Kardon Citation 200 is discontinued.
