The Bose Soundlink Micro 2 is the better-sounding option. A waterproof mini speaker with a fabric strap for bags and bikes and USB-C charging. It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Onn Small Rugged Speaker lacks. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Onn Small Rugged Speaker lacks. The tradeoff: Lack of clarity.
What the Onn Small Rugged Speaker does well: A very cheap, tough waterproof mini speaker with USB-C charging, an aux input, and a speakerphone mic. The tradeoff: Its 1.5-inch driver cannot create meaningful deep bass (about 66Hz at -10dB) or the clarity and scale of better small speakers.
