Bogasing G4 vs Tribit PocketGo

Last updated: September 26, 2026

These sit in different size classes, so this is not a straight ranking comparison. The Bogasing G4 ranks #25 of 144 medium speakers by sound quality at $38.29; the Tribit PocketGo ranks #27 of 47 small speakers by sound quality at $22.99.

Bogasing G4 vs Tribit PocketGo

The case for the Bogasing G4: A 0.83kg travel-friendly speaker with 50W output, IPX7 protection, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, LC3 Bluetooth and TWS pairing. The tradeoff: The upper treble is boosted and uneven, while the mids sit slightly behind the bass and highs, so it is not a neutral choice for vocal-focused music.

What the Tribit PocketGo does well: Fuller low end than the JBL Go 5, despite the JBL’s clearer, more typical JBL sound. The catch: Battery life isn’t the biggest for this speaker class.

Buy the Bogasing G4 at $38.29 if you want a medium speaker. Buy the Tribit PocketGo at $22.99 if you want a small speaker instead.

Bogasing G4 ranking card

Pros: A 0.83kg travel-friendly speaker with 50W output, IPX7 protection, USB-C charging, aux and microSD playback, LC3 Bluetooth and TWS pairing. It reaches a useful 100dB maximum level and has a measured 56Hz -10dB bass point, giving it more low-end presence than many speakers of this size. Measured bass extension of 56Hz (-10dB).

Cons: The upper treble is boosted and uneven, while the mids sit slightly behind the bass and highs, so it is not a neutral choice for vocal-focused music. It has no app or user EQ, and its Super Bass and Vocal modes offer little practical differentiation according to listening tests.

Tribit PocketGo ranking card

Pros: Fuller low end than the JBL Go 5, despite the JBL’s clearer, more typical JBL sound. Costs about half the price of the JBL Go 5. Can stand, hang from its loop, or lay flat on its feet for flexible placement. About on par with the Soundcore Select 4 Go, and a touch louder at lower volumes. App support with signature EQ and customization.

Cons: Battery life isn’t the biggest for this speaker class. JBL Go 5 has better build quality plus lightshow, Auracast, and AirTouch. Loses more bass than the Soundcore Select 4 Go at maximum volume. Slightly nasal quality to the sound.
