The case for the JBL 4329P: Measured -3dB extension of 32.2Hz provides deeper native bass than the smaller JBL 4305P. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Barefoot Footprint 01 lacks. The tradeoff: The measured 4.5dB response span from 300Hz to 5kHz includes a notable midrange dip, so it is not as neutral as its size and price might suggest.
Buy the Barefoot Footprint 01 if you want one new; the JBL 4329P is discontinued, so only look for it used.

Frequency Response Compared
Both speakers’ spinorama measurements, overlaid. A flatter line is more neutral: peaks sound forward or harsh, dips sound recessed. Each curve is shifted so its average from 300 Hz to 3 kHz sits at 0 dB, so loudness differences between the two are removed and only the shape is compared.
