In-Ear Headphones
Ranked #103 of 238 in In-Ear Headphones - qdc Gemini: $2,137.00 Shenzhenaudio eBay
Pros: Crinacle’s measurement gives it a preference score of 74, and it is rated above the ThieAudio V16 Divinity and the Noble Audio Kadence. In squig.link measurements bass and mids track the target within about 1 dB, so instruments and voices keep natural weight, and air above 10 kHz is lifted about 3 dB for added openness. Eight balanced armatures at 25 ohms and 112 dB sensitivity play easily from a phone.
Cons: Presence from 3 to 6 kHz falls almost 6 dB short of target, with a dip of about 9.6 dB near 5.5 kHz, which dulls vocal clarity and attack on guitars and snares. Sub-bass sits about 3.7 dB below target, so the deepest rumble is lighter than ideal. The Shuoer Cadenza 12 is rated higher at a similar price.

Ranked #146 of 238 in In-Ear Headphones - qdc Anole VX: $2,499.00 Shenzhenaudio eBay
Pros: Ten balanced armatures keep bass close to target, within about 1.4 dB from 20 Hz to 200 Hz in squig.link measurements, so low end is clean and controlled rather than boomy. The tuning suits warm and bass-leaning listeners, and sensitivity of 110 to 113 dB/mW means it runs from a phone with plenty of headroom.
Cons: Across hobbyist measurements a deep 10.7 dB dip near 5.4 kHz leaves the presence band 6.2 dB low, so vocals, snare and guitars lose clarity and attack. Crinacle’s preference score of 67 is low for its price, and the qdc Gemini, Noble Audio Kadence and Shuoer Cadenza 12 all rate higher for less money.

Ranked #157 of 238 in In-Ear Headphones - qdc Anole V6: $1,298.00 Shenzhenaudio eBay
Pros: Six balanced armature drivers per side earn a preference score of 65 in crinacle’s measurement with a warm leaning balance. It matches the rating of the 64 Audio A12t for considerably less money, and its 106 to 109 dB/mW sensitivity makes it easy to drive from a phone.
Cons: An average deviation of about 2.9 dB from target makes the tuning uneven, with some bands noticeably louder or quieter than others. Better rated in-ears are available for far less money.
