JVC Speaker Rankings and Reviews

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 2 JVC models across headphones. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything JVC makes.

What this page covers. The JVC models ranked here span headphones, including JVC HA-FW1500 and JVC HA-FW01. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 2 JVC speakers ranked on this site across headphones. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

In-Ear Headphones

Ranked #491 of 668 in In-Ear Headphones - JVC HA-FW1500: $766.28 Amazon $766.28 eBay

JVC HA-FW1500 ranking card

Pros: The 11 mm dynamic driver rates a manufacturer specified 6 Hz to 52 kHz, and Crinacle’s measurement shows a Harman preference score of 66 with a mild warm tilt of 0.53 dB. The 16 ohm impedance and 103 dB/mW sensitivity make it easy for a phone to drive. It has been out since late 2019.

Cons: A score of 66 is middling and a deviation of 2.69 dB means audible coloration, which is hard to justify at a flagship price. The HIFIMAN RE2000 and FiiO FD5 are both rated higher, and the FiiO costs far less. It is wired only and lists no microphone.

In-Ear Headphones

Ranked #634 of 668 in In-Ear Headphones - JVC HA-FW01 Discontinued eBay

JVC HA-FW01 ranking card

Pros: Bass is lifted about 4.5 dB with extension to 20 Hz, giving kick drums and bass lines extra weight. Lower mids sit within about 0.6 dB of target, keeping voices and guitars natural. It uses 1 x 11mm wood dome dynamic with an easy 16 ohm load.

Cons: Discontinued, so it is mainly found used. The 4.5 dB bass lift can sound boomy and mask midrange detail. Treble sits about 5.3 dB low, so it sounds a little dark. A Harman score of 48 places it in the lower part of the in-ear rankings.
