IKEA Speaker Rankings and Reviews

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 2 IKEA models across powered speakers. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything IKEA makes.

What this page covers. The IKEA models ranked here span powered speakers, including IKEA SYMFONISK Table Lamp Speaker (2nd gen) and IKEA SYMFONISK Table Lamp Speaker (1st gen). Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 2 IKEA speakers ranked on this site across powered speakers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

IKEA SYMFONISK Table Lamp Speaker (2nd gen) ranking card

Older model: the IKEA SYMFONISK Table Lamp Speaker (1st gen) (ranked lower, rated 1.8/5).

Pros: The second-generation lamp speaker, with a custom waveguide for wider sound and more bass than the IKEA SYMFONISK Table Lamp Speaker (1st gen), standard E26/E27 bulbs, and full Sonos multi-room and AirPlay 2 support. SlashGear found Trueplay tuning noticeably improved it.

Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. SlashGear found it not as loud as a Sonos One, it has no Bluetooth, and IKEA has stopped selling it. Discontinued.
