Airpulse Speaker Rankings and Reviews

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 4 Airpulse models across powered speakers. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything Airpulse makes.

What this page covers. The Airpulse models ranked here span powered speakers, including Airpulse A60, Airpulse A100 and Airpulse A200T. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 4 Airpulse speakers ranked on this site across powered speakers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

Small Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers

Ranked #13 of 42 in Small Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Airpulse A60: $449.99 per pair Estimated Amazon eBay

Airpulse A60 ranking card

Same family: the Airpulse A80 (larger bookshelf, estimated 3.9/5), the Airpulse A100 (larger bookshelf, rated 4/5) and the Airpulse A200T (larger bookshelf, estimated 4/5).

Pros: The smallest AirPulse active speaker, and the first to use a planar-diaphragm tweeter, paired with a 3.5” aluminum-cone woofer. A DSP crossover and Texas Instruments Class D amplifiers deliver 30W per woofer and 10W per tweeter. It suits a desk, with aptX HD Bluetooth, several wired inputs, a subwoofer output and a remote.

Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from the AirPulse A100. The 3.5” woofer limits bass depth and loudness, so a subwoofer is needed for full-range music.

Medium Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers

Airpulse A100 ranking card

Same family: the Airpulse A60 (smaller bookshelf, estimated 3.8/5), the Airpulse A80 (smaller bookshelf, ranked lower, estimated 3.9/5) and the Airpulse A200T (larger bookshelf, ranked lower, estimated 4/5).

Pros: ASR’s Klippel data gives a 2.9dB midrange span and scores of 4.56 standalone and 7.08 with an ideal subwoofer. The ribbon tweeter and five-inch woofer provide a distinctive compact powered system, with remote control and a subwoofer output simplifying everyday use. Measured bass extension of 63.0Hz (-3dB).

Cons: Bass reaches -3dB around 63Hz, so lower notes need a subwoofer for full weight. Listening-window narrow-band deviation of 0.419 shows more local tonal variation than the leading monitors. Rear tone controls are less flexible than parametric EQ or room correction. Neither the ribbon tweeter nor a directivity-index summary establishes uniquely wide or perfectly controlled dispersion. The remote cannot reach the rear bass and treble knobs, and there is no app EQ.

Ranked #38 of 100 in Medium Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Airpulse A200T: $899.99 per pair Estimated Amazon eBay

Airpulse A200T ranking card

Same family: the Airpulse A60 (smaller bookshelf, estimated 3.8/5), the Airpulse A80 (smaller bookshelf, ranked lower, estimated 3.9/5) and the Airpulse A100 (smaller bookshelf, ranked higher, rated 4/5).

Pros: A step up from the A100 in the AirPulse range, with a horn-loaded aluminum ribbon tweeter and a 5.5” aluminum-cone woofer, amplified separately with 55W per woofer and 10W per tweeter (130W total). It adds a phono input for a turntable alongside aptX HD Bluetooth and other wired inputs, plus a subwoofer output and a remote.

Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from the AirPulse A100. The horn tweeter can narrow vertical dispersion, so it sounds best with the tweeters near ear height.

Airpulse A80 ranking card

Same family: the Airpulse A60 (smaller bookshelf, estimated 3.8/5), the Airpulse A100 (larger bookshelf, ranked higher, rated 4/5) and the Airpulse A200T (larger bookshelf, ranked higher, estimated 4/5).

Pros: A compact AirPulse speaker with the brand’s horn-loaded aluminum ribbon tweeter and a 4.5” aluminum-cone woofer, separately amplified with 40W per woofer and 10W per tweeter. The specified range runs from 52Hz to 40kHz. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX, optical, USB, PC and AUX inputs, a subwoofer output and a remote make it an all-in-one desk or bookshelf system.

Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from the larger AirPulse A100. Bass stops around 52Hz, so it benefits from a subwoofer, and the horn tweeter can narrow vertical dispersion, so keep it near ear height.
