Short answer: the JBL Partybox 300. It ranks #8 of 50 party speakers by sound quality at $300; the Teufel Rockster Air 2 ranks #13 and costs $499.99, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
What the JBL Partybox 300 gets right: Exceptional sound quality with crisp, crystal clear highs and midranges, hard punchy bass without muddiness. 2x 6.5” woofers + 3x 2.25” tweeters, bass boost function, 45Hz-20kHz frequency range. 18-hour battery with 10400mAh capacity. The tradeoff: Hard to carry, too tall, drags on the ground. Max spl and bass extension are only as good as the Partybox 100.
What the Teufel Rockster Air 2 offers: More consistent off-axis sound than the JBL Partybox 130, thanks to its single horn-loaded compression driver. Set against that: Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 130’s boosted bass, though the JBL’s is boomy rather than truly deep.
Buy the JBL Partybox 300. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Teufel Rockster Air 2 and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.
If battery life is a priority, the Teufel Rockster Air 2 is rated for 58 hours versus 18 hours for the JBL Partybox 300.

Teufel Rockster Air 2: $499.99 Amazon
Pros: More consistent off-axis sound than the JBL Partybox 130, thanks to its single horn-loaded compression driver. Projects sound more evenly to the sides, unlike the JBL’s narrower front-firing dispersion. Cleaner instrument separation at high volume than the JBL Partybox 130, which turns anemic and loses bass at max volume despite its bass boost.
Cons: Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 130’s boosted bass, though the JBL’s is boomy rather than truly deep. Bass and treble aren’t perfectly controlled at maximum volume - can sound hollow or too bright unless turned down from default. Not meaningfully louder than its 3-year-old predecessor, and the reviewer found the overall tuning a bit worse.
