Speaker Ranking no longer publishes a handwritten “coming soon” list. Models changed, disappeared, or were measured before the list could be maintained, and a public list implied a firm commitment when usable evidence did not yet exist.
What Can Be Added
A useful suggestion should identify a real, distinct speaker and include enough evidence to place it fairly. The best candidates have:
- A current official product page and clear model name
- Independent frequency-response, Spinorama, CEA-2010, output, or direct-comparison data
- A known size and product category
- A current price or legitimate retail listing
- Evidence that the model is available rather than discontinued, region-locked without documentation, or only a DIY design
New bookshelf and floorstanding speakers are easiest to place when standardized anechoic measurements exist. Portable speakers need reliable frequency-response or comparison data. Subwoofers need comparable CEA-2010 output data; a manufacturer frequency range alone is not enough.
Before Suggesting a Model
Search the site first. The speaker may already have an individual page, appear under a slightly different regional name, or be listed as discontinued. Also check recent updates to see what was added most recently.
If the speaker is genuinely missing, use the comments and suggestions page and include:
- Manufacturer and exact model
- Official product URL
- Measurement or review URLs
- Country or region where it is sold
- Anything that distinguishes it from a model already listed
Suggestions are prioritized by evidence quality and usefulness to readers, not by the number of requests or the availability of an affiliate link.
