Short answer: the JBL Flip 7. It ranks #14 of 136 medium speakers by sound quality; the Boat Stone 350/352/358 ranks #119.
The case for the JBL Flip 7: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. The catch: A little bit of a bump at 4khz, not quite as neutral as the FLip 6. I believe this one is slightly worse than the Flip 6.
On the Boat Stone 350/352/358 side: Long battery life (12 hours), IPX5 water resistant, compact and portable, sturdy build, dual passive radiators. Watch for: Some midrange peaks, treble slightly rolled off. Not much bass. Same hardware as the Dayton Audio Boost.
Buy the JBL Flip 7 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Boat Stone 350/352/358 if the price matters more than sound quality.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Boat Stone 350/352/358. It ranks near the bottom of the 136 medium speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
If battery life is a priority, the JBL Flip 7 is rated for 14 hours versus 6 hours for the Boat Stone 350/352/358.
