#15 FBT Mitus 112A: $1,500.00 eBay
Pros: The medium-quality vendor data produces a 4.95 ideal-subwoofer preference score. A B&C neodymium woofer, rotatable 80° x 50° horn, plywood cabinet and 133dB claimed peak output form a capable professional package.
Cons: Measured bass extension is about 79Hz despite the much deeper manufacturer response claim, so a subwoofer is advisable for full-range music. Controls are limited to presets and filters rather than the app-based mixing and remote DSP found on newer competitors.
How it compares: Just above it: Axiom ED120A - $290 more. Just below it: Yamaha DZR12 - $302 cheaper.
